This lovely chateau on the banks of the Indre truly charms with its beautiful gardens and historic ambiance. The rooms are compact yet comfortable. However, noise disturbances from garden maintenance early in the morning can be quite off-putting. Dining was delightful, although service was a bit slow at times. It could use some improvements.

We had a magical 3-night escape filled with lovely touches! The dinner experience was outstanding. local flavors truly excelled. The staff went above and beyond, even providing insect spray for the pool—such thoughtful service! Don’t forget to enjoy the serene surroundings.

grounds provided a serene backdrop for our stay. However, we found the internet connection in our room to be quite slow, which was frustrating while trying to plan our daily excursions.

I had a lovely stay at Domaine De La Tortiniere. The grounds are stunning. I enjoyed wandering through the picturesque gardens. My room felt cozy, although a bit compact, perfect for the two nights I stayed. The breakfast each morning featured a great spread but felt a little pricey at 24€ per person. I appreciate that the terrace dining offered amazing views. The staff were exceptionally helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my time. However, the lack of reservation availability for dinner was disappointing since I could only dine at the restaurant once during my two nights. This made planning a bit tricky. Room service had some discrepancies when billing at check-out, which took a while to resolve. Overall, I loved my experience despite some snags in dining reservations and billing issues towards the end.

The Domaine De La Tortiniere offers beautifully decorated rooms with charming details, and the surrounding gardens are tranquil and inviting, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, enhancing our overall experience.

Improved signage for room locations would be helpful.

Just an optimal selection for a weekend pause in Veigne with great value. We enjoyed having a meal on the terrace, which was very relaxing. Make sure to reserve dinner in advance as the restaurant can fill up quickly.

We stayed for 2 nights but could only dine in the restaurant on the night we arrived as it was fully booked the next evening. This was disappointing, but the staff did their best to make our experience shine.

domaine de la tortiniere is a lovely oasis. the staff were wonderful and super friendly. our charm double room was beautiful, and the stunning pool provided a peaceful retreat after exploring. dining in the restaurant was a delight, with delicious food that made our stay even more memorable.
